OnePlus is testing major camera updates in Android 11 Beta 1
OnePlus 8 phones can access the new Camera updates through Android 11 Beta 1, and provide no less than three major new features. This update upgrades the Camer software to version .4.0 and launches everything through the new "Quick Share" menu. Sharing u around a new ring, users can share photos immediately after shooting with just one tap.
According to reports, "Quick Share" temporarily does not allow users to see a photo after sharing it, but it can be added before it is completed.
It is unclear whether the rapid sharing application ring that appears now can be customized. However, it seems unlikely that OnePlus will lock users in the preset list of applications. Especially because the feature is designed to quickly capture snapshots and then easily share pictures-just a few taps. This should prove to be useful in situations where perfect shooting is really not required but quick sharing is indeed required.
Next, OnePlus plugged into a new interface to enlarge the photo. There does not seem to be any change in the quality of zoom photos here. At least not yet. But this function effectively allows users to quickly zoom in or out before taking pictures with only one thumb or one finger. This interaction is described as a "joystick", similar to the zoom function of Samsung's flagship store.
The third new feature is hidden under the engine cover. Therefore, at least until the second public beta of Android 11, it may not appear in a more useful way.
That is, this is a new set of photo filters. They are currently unnamed, but the prompt is displayed in the base code. This reveals a presumably temporary label. Known as "FaceApp, 01, BeautyPlus, White (new), Claire, Juno, Valencia, Snapseed, Sweetsnap and Youca
m. "
Other features are also stacked on Android 11's main camera update
In addition to the major camera changes mentioned in the first beta for Android 11 on OnePlus devices, at least two other notable features have been added. The first one is very simple, "evidence" indicates that OnePlus will add a document scanner.
This effectively illustrates all that needs to be done. Probably a shooting mode that can parse documents, similar to a printer-based scanner. However, it is not clear why OnePlus will not add a dedicated document mode as soon as possible. Most other OEMs have provided document-specific models for quite some time.
At this time, OnePlus seems to be working hard to add a new "continuous shooting" mode to its phones equipped with Android 11. This will also not apply to standard photos.
Instead, OnePlus took an item from Google’s Pixel book and hoped to add a “burst video” feature. As the name suggests, this will allow users to shoot multiple short format videos in quick succession. Similar to the shooting mode of continuous photos.
OnePlus Android 11 Beta 1 goes well
As always, OnePlus is one of the first third-party OEMs to offer this Android Beta to its users. This does not mean that only anyone should download the new version of Android immediately. Previously, bugs and problems in the developer-centric preview should be resolved. But this is a beta version and has almost no support for the full version of Android.
