ZenBook 14 UX425 appears on the page of an Australian retailer
The ZENBOOK 14 UX425 is a 2020 notebook computer that has been confirmed to exist casually in its manufacturer Asus. Nevertheless, it (and its 13-inch counterpart) has not seen anything like the official product launch. This is a bit strange because it is now clear that it has been released to the Australian market.
It has appeared in the new retail list with Mwave and Scorptec sellers, which confirms its Core i7-1065G7 CPU option. It is also described as having 16GB RAM, 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD storage, 14-inch screen FHD resolution, Intel Iris Plus Graphics, B
Luetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 6 machines. It is also equipped with a HD IR webcam, which can be used by Windows 10 Pro OS to use the Hello authentication system.
It is also found that the UX425 has a 67-watt-hour (Whr) 4-cell battery, which can be charged to 65W using its built-in power brick. In addition, it also includes 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, which are also type C in their I/0 (unfortunately, the lack of a headphone jack).
The Australian retailer of the new ZENBOOK 14 also includes the 1.39 cm depth specification mentioned in its section of the April 2020 press release: it obviously also weighs 1.2 kg. The material also references the notebook's second SKU based on AMD Renoir. However, at present, neither site mentions it. However, we do know that this new Asus PC will appear in an attractive green (appropriately) gray shade called "Pine Gray".
The quotations from both websites are AU$1939 (approximately US$1361). Mwave currently lists it as out of stock, although Scorptec currently allows ordering and says it will begin shipping in July 2020.
